Bowsers conducted fire rating services during the construction of new office, hangar, and ancillary spaces for the NSW Police Aviation Support Branch (PolAir) by Taylor Constructions.
Bowsers was responsible for the fire rating of structural steel elements within the hangar space using intumescent coatings.
Bowsers’ thorough planning and preparation of the project ensured sufficient labour and resources were allocated to complete the work within the tight time frames. Their highly experienced staff worked tirelessly with the builder to successfully access the harder to reach areas that required sufficient coverage.
The nature of the project meant Bowsers had very specific requirements and obligations to adhere too. Bowsers needed to manage numerous design changes and ensure works were completed within very tight time constraints.
Regular and constant client communication, as well as Bowsers’ experience using intumescent coatings in an industrial application, ensured works were completed on time and on budget. This resulted in a very successful project outcome.
