Situated on a prime 2,042sqm waterfront block in Northbridge, this extensive renovation transformed a dated waterfront home into a sophisticated contemporary family retreat.

Having successfully completed previous fire safety projects for Horizon, Bowsers was entrusted with the BAL-FZ rating for the roof, fascia, and eaves of the main residence. This involved the supply of over 300sqm of Promat’s Siniat Weather Defence 2 (WD2) and providing technical oversight and instruction to achieve the highest BAL–FZ standard, protecting the home against flame contact, radiant heat exceeding 40kW/m2, and ember attack. This system ensured comprehensive protection for the home, which adjoins dense bushland.
The Northbridge Residence presented significant technical and logistical challenges. Its distinctive copper roof, intricate architectural details, and custom lighting and window features required precise product installation and specialist technical support.
Given the home’s high-spec and technical nature, Bowsers maintained a strong on-site presence, conducting regular site visits during the installation period. The team oversaw all aspects of the project, providing expert guidance and resolving any installation queries. Upon completion, Bowsers provided an installation certificate to BAL-FZ.
