Bowsers has provided services for numerous prestigious office buildings throughout Australia, from construction phase to annual maintenance inspections and repairs.
Services have been provided to major clients such as Dexus, Investa and Charter Hall. The annual maintenance is provided via their property managers such as CBRE and JLL or through major HVAC contractors working on site.
Bowsers has a long history working with hotels and understand their needs and those of their guests. Services provided include fire safety upgrade works and annual fire safety inspections. Clients include various Rydges Hotels in Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns; Sheraton On the Park, Adina Apartments and the Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney.
Bowsers works closely with centre managers, managing annual fire safety inspections and fire safety upgrade works. Clients include Scentre for Westfield sites nationally, Big W sites throughout Queensland, Castle Towers, Macquarie Centre, Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre and IKEA in Sydney.
Bowsers has been involved in the construction and maintenance of numerous public and private hospitals in New South Wales and Queensland. Projects include the application of intumescent coatings for a facility at Westmead Hospital and an audit and upgrade of fire seals and fire dampers at Sutherland Hospital in Sydney. Other projects include hospitals for private health operators such as Ramsay Healthcare and Uniting Healthcare in Queensland.
Bowsers has a long and successful association with the University of NSW where it carries out annual passive fire safety inspections and upgrades on over 50 buildings across all campuses.
Other university projects include the installation of fire seals and fire dampers for the Mereweather Building at the University of Sydney and Building 4 at the University of Technology Sydney.
At Wenona school, Bowsers worked with the builder to provide intumescent coatings to exposed structural steelwork, which is a key architectural feature of the building.
Bowsers provides expert support to numerous strata management companies and committees. We assist with annual fire safety inspections and upgrades on multi unit properties and ongoing passive fire safety maintenance.
Working closely with strata members, Bowsers can complete the works in a manner that minimises disruption to residents.
Bowsers provides passive fire protection services to the aged care sector. We have been involved in the construction of St Brigid’s Green Aged Care, a new facility in Maroubra and Opal Residential Aged Care at Thornleigh.
Bowsers has also provided annual fire safety inspections and maintenance for Kiama Municipal Council for the Blue Haven Retirement Village.
Bowsers has an enviable track record in providing a comprehensive service for the installation of passive fire protection to new grandstands at the Sydney Cricket Ground for the builder, AW Edwards. These include the Victor Trumper Stand, the MA Noble and Don Bradman stands and the Bill O’Reilly stand.
Passive fire protection services included pre-construction fire rating design review and the installation and maintenance of fire seals, fire dampers, lightweight construction and vermiculite fire spray.
Bowsers has provided passive fire protection for Leighton Contractors at the Amcor Paper Mill, Port Botany. Home of the most sophisticated recycled paper making machine in Australasia, producing high-quality 100 per cent recycled brown paper.
For this critical facility in Amcor’s operation, Bowsers was selected to provide passive fire rating services.
Bowsers replaced over 300 fire dampers on the Eraring Power Station. Replacement works were conducted under strict safety and operational protocols.
This project was a testament of Bowsers’ ability to carry out major upgrade works without disrupting day to day operations of the Eraring Power Station.
Bowsers has recently been involved in Sydney’s newest transport infrastructure, WestConnex M8.
Two contracts have been completed for parties involved in the delivery of the tunnel and the services provided include vermiculite fire spray and lightweight construction.
Bowsers has been involved in heavy rail stations providing passive fire protection systems and auditing the existing installations at Chatswood, Edgecliff, Croydon, and Leura stations.
Our experience in heavy rail stations is invaluable for the new Sydney Metro stations currently under construction.
Bowsers has provided Promat’s Bushfire Roof and Wall system to a number of residential builders including Clarendon Homes, Unicus Homes and Elandra Homes for numerous sites located in bushfire zones.
