Wenona School constructed a new, state-of -the-art Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Centre and Sporting Facility. Bowsers supported the builder, Kane Constructions, and subcontractors by providing fire rating services.
Bowsers applied intumescent coatings to exposed structural steel and conducted fire sealing of electrical service penetrations throughout the project.
Bowsers is highly experienced in school environments. Our painters applied high end, commercial grade finishes to the exposed steel and completed all works with no disruption to students, staff and stakeholders. Bowsers’ staff managed multiple design changes throughout the project and delivered the required outcome with a minimum of fuss.
Bespoke solutions were required for fire rating of the electrical service penetrations. Bowsers’ experienced auditors were able to assess and develop fire rating solutions for the fire sealing of the electrical services and technicians completed the installations and recorded all relevant certification documentation.
The fire rating of the structural steel and electrical penetrations was completed, and the Wenona School has a great, new learning space for its students.
